The Dutch WW I forum 'Forum Eerste Wereldoorlog' participated in the Scottish Weekend organised by the Zonnebeke Memorial Museum Passendaele.
The forum made it's own t-shirts for this weekend, which became a wonderfull experience.
I would like to express special thanks for an organisation which can only be described with superlatives. A really sublime happening, and the very best one in it's kind that I've participated in.
Special congratulations to the whole team of the Memorial Museum Passendaele and especially for Mr. Franky Bostyn and Mr. Erwin Ureel.
Some of you may know that I very much appreciate the Scottish culture and so nobody will be astonished that we very much enjoyed the Tattoo and especially the presence of the Scots Guards.
A very deep and unforgettable experience to me was the small ceremony during the Dawn Walk with it's 210 participants, at the new Scottish Memorial at Frezenberg.
We also enjoyed very much the special Scottish Tour organised by the museum on Sunday afternoon for us, which took us to all the Scottish Memorials in the Ypres region.
As a start, some photo's from the saturday group of the Dutch WW I forum during the visit at the museum at 10.00 AM.
